<div itemprop="description"> <p> KIPPER, Ursula Antonia Louise, 84. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ursula, on November 10th, 2012, in the QE2 Halifax Infirmary. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of Franz and Wilhelmina Arendt. She came to Canada in 1955 and had a long career as owner of Ursula&rsquo;s Beauty Salon in Woodlawn. </p> <p> Ursula, also known as Oma, loved cooking, gardening and knitting. She deeply treasured her time with her family and spent many summers at the cottage. She also enjoyed the large family dinners which she prepared on many festive occasions. The past few years were spent at Ocean View nursing home where the staff of Skyview looked after her with kindness. </p> <p> Ursula is survived by her second husband Vincent Hamm and only son; Peter, two grand-daughters; Heidi (Darren) and Erika; great-grandchildren; Emily, Justin, Tyler, Kyle, Gillian, Aidan, Julian and McKenna. She was predeceased by both of her parents and her loving first husband of 57 years, Stefan. </p> <p> Her kind heart and generosity toward others will forever be missed by all she has touched. </p> <p> Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Wednesday November 14 from 1-2pm at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens following service.
