Brian Walters
December 8, 1956 - October 5, 2016
Age 59, of Dartmouth, passed away on October 5, 2016 in the Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Halifax, he was the son of Helen (Boutilier) and the late George Walters.
Brian enjoyed his work as a driver for Metro Transit.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, kayaking, motorcycling and bicycling.
He was a real people person and he had a great sense of humour, right up to the end.
In addition to his mother Helen, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 38 years Karen (MacKay); daughters Dawn (Ryan) Cox; Kerianne Walters (R.J Bastarache); brothers, David (Stella), Billy (Diane), Michael (Angie); sisters Barbara (Gary) Hall, Sandy (Robert) Hood; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday October 11, 2016 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St, Dartmouth, Reverend James Haughn officiating, with a reception to follow.
Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff on 4West in the Dartmouth General.
