<div itemprop="description">Estabrooks, Austin Lawrence -age 69 of Lake Echo <br>With great sadness, we announce the passing of Austin Estabrooks on February 21, 2017 at the VG Hospital, QEII. <br>Austin is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Janet, his three children Martena (Steve), Marlene (Jamie) and Kent (Chrissy), his grandchildren, Stephanie (Brett) and Olivia, great grandchildren, Danika and Austin; his mother Martena, siblings, Sharon, Bill (Ellen), Ken (Louise), Bruce (Donna) and Meredith. <br>He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence, his maternal grandparents, William and Ledonia Fillmore and paternal grandparents Horace and Pearl Estabrooks. <br>He was a devoted husband and superhero to his children and grandchildren. He shared his love of music with everyone who knew him and will forever be remembered by his family for his awesome kitchen parties. <br>Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held at 4 pm February 24, 2017 at Lake Echo Fellowship Baptist Church, 17 Peter Court, Mineville, with a reception to follow at Lake Echo Community Centre, 3168 Hwy#7, Lake Echo. Pastor Frank Kohler will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Austin’s life. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens to take place at a later date. <br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. <br>Thanks to all of the caring staff of the ICU, VG Hospital and a special thanks to Dr. Mark Walsh for all his efforts. <br>Online condolences may be made by visiting the Dartmouth Chapel www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com <br> <br>“Rest in peace Superman.
