ZWICKER, Wendell Ivan-56,

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of one amazing man. He passed away suddenly on April 9th, after a brief illness. Born in Tangier, he was a son of Maurice (Hattie) and the late Florence (Mason) Zwicker.

Wendell was a real people person and for this reason he was loved by many. He spent 23 years at Miller Tire and then joined Earthmover Atlantic Tire two years ago.

He had the rare capacity to spread laughter to all he met. Wendell loved his family, his friends, and he enjoyed camping. He had a zest for life. Wendell leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years, Debbi, who was shown his love daily. He also leaves his sidekick son, Chris (Laura).

He will be sadly missed by his surviving family; brothers: Keith (Debbie), Sheet Harbour; Kenny (Donna), Pleasant Harbour; Darrell (Diane), Dartmouth; god-daughter Camryn Covin, Moncton.

He had several nieces and nephews, many of whom called him “their favourite Uncle”.

He was predeceased by his sister Laverne Murphy (2003).

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday April 14 from 12:30-2:30 pm at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, with the memorial service taking place at 2:30pm.
