<div itemprop="description">After an arduous battle with cancer, Patrick found solace on November 23, 2016. Born in Middleton to Roxanne (Acker) & Joseph Ryan. Pat was multi-faceted, his careers ranged from carpentry, mechanic, auto body, roofing & lastly a career firefighter. Pat was passionate about military vehicle restoration, automotive customizing & everything motorcycles. He built homes, cottages, trucks, cars, & even a helicopter. Only days before his passing, you could find Pat working on his fan boat project. Limited only by his imagination, Pat will be remembered for his extraordinary designs & his ability to make the impossible possible. Pat is survived by his mother, Roxanne Ryan; daughter, Tanya (Angus) MacBean; sisters, Margaret (Pepe) Lajoie, Sharon Ryan; brother, James (Maureen) Ryan; grandchildren, Amanda and Nelson Freeborn; great grandchildren, Gavin and Mackenzie; niece, Erine Grant; nephews, Joseph Grant, George Ryan and Sean Ryan. Pat was predeceased by his father Joseph and his long time fur-companion, Brittany. There will be no visitation. A reception will be held Friday, December 2, 2016 at Atlantic Funeral Homes 771 Main Street, Dartmouth from 2-4 pm following a private family interment. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Thank you to the exceptional staff of the South Shore Regional Hospital & Pat’s home care team.
