<div itemprop="description">Bourque (Keoughan), Maureen Theresa – age 65 of Dartmouth passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at home. Born in Meteghan she was a daughter of the late Francis and Regina (Robichaud) Keoughan. She was strong and committed in whatever she did; her family; friendships; work and her faith (She was a founding member of the (Saint Pio) Padre Pio Prayer Group). Her kindness and generosity were outstanding while feeding the poor and working in outreach. She spent her final years with the true love and light of her life, her only grandson Ryland who she loved deeply. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She touched the hearts and lives of so many. Maureen is survived by her daughter, Susan Horton (Jason), Dartmouth; son, Andrew; grandson, Ryland Horton; brothers, Thomas, Halifax, Christopher, Missisauga, Robert (Janet), Comox BC, Neil, Meteghan; sisters, Patricia Miles, Dartmouth Janet McDonald, Halifax and Rita Keoughan, Toronto; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm Tuesday, December 27 followed by a funeral service at 2pm both in Atlantic Funeral Home 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Graveside service to be held 2pm Wednesday, December 28 in Stella Maris Parish Cemetery, Meteghan followed by a reception in Stella Maris Parish church hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia a charity that was dear to her heart. <br>Life is short. Break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that made you smile.<br></div>
