<div itemprop="description">Dickey, Matthew MacKenzie “Matt”, 36, of Lake Echo. <br>It is with broken hearts and deep regret we announce that Matt passed away on March 11, 2017 in the Montreal Heart Institute, Montreal, Quebec. <br>Born in Charlottetown, PEI, he was a son of Catherine (Gary) MacKenzie, of Fall River and Greg (Sue) Dickey of Cape Breton. <br> Matt worked as a truck driver and had been employed with Irving Oil for the past 5 years. He loved baseball, football and was an avid Patriots fan. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing and ATV’ing. He also enjoyed working on his truck and doing his own home renovations. He treasured time spent with Ryan-Anne and his two girls. <br>Matt is survived by his common-law spouse Ryan-Anne Donovan; daughters Kyla and Abby; his parents; siblings Jake (Tanya) Dickey, PEI, Jessica (Mark) Wagg, Cow Bay, NS, Christine (Paige) Dickey, PEI; Steve Dickey and Nick (Camille) Dickey, both of Banff, AB, and Al (Julie) Carver, PEI; grandfather Bob Dickey, PA, USA; and many nieces and nephews. <br>He was predeceased by his infant son John-David Dickey; grandparents Eric and Doris MacKenzie, and Pearl Dickey. <br>Visitation will be held from 3-6pm on Sunday March 19th in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street Dartmouth. The funeral service will follow at 6pm in the funeral home chapel. <br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Montreal Heart Institute or the IWK Foundation. <br>Special thanks to the staff and doctors at the QEII, Unit 7 and the Montreal Heart institute and to all of our family and friends for the support and prayers over the past few months. <br>Online condolences may be made by visiting the Dartmouth Chapel at www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com <br></div>
