<div itemprop="description">MARGARET HOPE NORTON (Peggy)<br>It is with tremendous sadness that Gail and Gord announce the peaceful passing of our mother Margaret Hope Norton on Nov 14th 2016 at the age of 89 at Lewis Hall, Alderney Lane 124 Baker Drive Dartmouth.<br>Born in Peterborough, Ontario and raised in Montreal Quebec, she was the only daughter of the late George and Murtle Brown (Paisley).<br>Margaret is survived by her children: Gord Norton (Wilma MacDonald) Ajax and Gail Ginn, <br>Her brother Russell Brown of Ontario, grandchildren: Lynette Boutilier (Dennis) and Tracey Boutilier,<br>Great Grandchildren: Kathleen Boutilier and AJ Boutilier.<br>She was predeceased by Leslie, her loving husband of 66 years, her brother Cameron of Vermont <br>And her son in law Roy Ginn<br>Margaret was a member of Woodlawn United Church and a chartered member of the UCW since 1962 <br>(Farqharson’s Unit).She worked as Social convenor for the church and many other positions. She delivered Meals on wheels .Margaret loved to sew, knit, smock and many other crafts.<br>She was an associate member of the Shriner’s “Roaring 20’s” in Florida. She loved to travel and she spent 16 winter’s In Florida with her husband Les.<br>Visitation will take place 2-3.30 and 7-8.30 pm Nov 17th in Atlantic Funeral Homes Dartmouth Chapel, 771 Main Street.<br>Funeral Service will take place 11 am Nov 18th in the same location with reception to follow.<br>If friends so desire, Memorial donations may be made to the UCW of Woodlawn United Church<br>Dartmouth.<br>Special thanks to her family doctor, Dr. Richard Warren & all the staff at Alderney Lane for their excellent care & kindness.</div>
