<div itemprop="description">Age 54 of Stoney Creek, Ontario passed away suddenly October 17, 2016 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton. <br> <br> <br> <br>Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia she was a daughter of Eveline Clayton and the late Merlin Glasgow. <br> <br> <br> <br>Kathleen was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Dartmouth. She was a passionate, dedicated Sunday school teacher for over 30 years. <br> <br> <br> <br>She enjoyed Gospel music and singing, attending church and fellowship with her church family. She was a foster parent with the Halifax Children Aid for more than 20 years. <br> <br> <br> <br>She was a very cheerful person and always carried a smile. She loved dogs, reading, traveling, bowling, shopping, board games, puzzles, and cooking. Her favorite dishes were lobster, chicken wings and Chinese food. <br> <br> <br> <br>Survived by her mother, Eveline Clayton, East Preston; son, Wesley (Sanila) Paris, Stoney Creek; daughters, Tamara, Hamilton; Lateasha, Dartmouth; sister, Dorothy (Terry) Sampson, East Preston; brothers, Michael Glasgow, Moncton, N.B.; Cedric Glasgow, Eastern Passage; Sterling Clayton, East Preston; grandchildren, Julian, LaNaijah, Dwayne, Austin, Tyrese, Idris; Goddaughters, Jessica, Desiree, Fatima, Chantè; Godsons, Tyresse, Jerrel, Carlos, Nakeal; and many nieces and nephews. <br> <br> <br> <br>Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Gregory Paris, and her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clayton, and Mr. and Mrs. Harald Glasgow. <br> <br> <br> <br>Arrangements and care have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main Street Dartmouth. A visitation will take place Wednesday, October 26 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the United Pentecostal Church, 293 Main St, Dartmouth, with a reception to follow. Interment to take place at a later date in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. <br> <br> <br> <br>Flowers are welcome. Donations may be offered to the United Pentecostal Church. <br> <br> <br> <br>Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of St. Joseph’s Hospital for their care.</div>
