<div itemprop="description">Donovan, Diane Sadie age 71 of Dartmouth passed away on Oct 24, 2016 at the Northwood Manor. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Durling and Mary (nee: Murray) Demont. Diane was also predeceased by her sister Deloris Field. <br>Aside from raising her family Diane worked for the N.S. Government in the Dept. of Registry of Birth and Deaths. She also worked as a waitress for the Royal Canadian Legion branch #25. Diane was a passionate ceramic artist and not only created pieces for selling out of her studio but also passed on her passion for creation to many students over the years. She was also a talented singer and enjoyed many a night entertaining friends and family. <br>Diane is survived by her son; Floyd, daughters; Dianna (Hubert) Zmuda, Debbie (Darrin) Faloon, grandchildren; Amy and Andrew MacDonald, Matthew and Steven (Lindsey Joudrey) Faloon. Several nieces and nephews and cousins. <br>A funeral service will be held on Friday Nov 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Stairs Memorial United Church, 44 Hester Street, Dartmouth N.S. with the Rev: Sarah Reaburn officiating with Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. <br>The family would like to say thank you to all the wonderful staff at Northwood Manor and a special thank you to Roger and 5 center nursing staff for the wonderful care they provided to our mother.
