<div itemprop="description">Jackson, Devon John, age 13, of Windsor Junction, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2016 at his foster home, after a lifelong illness. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Cassandra Mason (Wayne Hiltz) and Kenneth Jackson. <br>In addition to his parents, Devon is survived by his sister “Issy” Courtney Mason (Joe Saba); brothers, David Cave (Bethany Dixon), and Corey Jackson; grandmother Cheryl Kays; nephew Riley Cave; niece Faith Cave, as well as many aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by grandfather Donald Mason, grandmother Glenna Jackson, grandfather John Jackson and siblings April Mason, and Shawn Mason. <br>Devon is also survived by his foster parents Sam and Barb Pike; foster sisters, Jill pike and her son Hank, Kayla Pike (Chris Eye) their daughter Olivia, Paula Pike (Ryan Nickerson) and their son Nash, Jessika Pike, and Marissa Pike; and his best buddy in the whole world, his foster brother Brandon Pike. <br>Devon had a smile that would melt your heart. He loved to have a conversation with anyone and everyone and he would talk your ears off. He also loved watching his movies. <br>A student of Georges P. Vanier Jr High, he couldn’t wait to get to school each morning, even as his health failed during his last weeks. <br><br> "Love you to infinity and beyond" <br><br>Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday June 10 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, with a reception to follow.
