<div itemprop="description">WRIGHT, Charles passed peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Northwood Center. He was born May 29th, 1938 in Woodstock, New Brunswick. He resided at the Nova Scotia Home for Coloured Children until moving to Cherry Brook. <br>In his early twenties, he accepted Jesus Christ into his heart as his personal Lord and Saviour under the ministry and tutelage of the Late Rev. Dr. Donald E. Fairfax and was a member of Victoria Road United Baptist Church. <br>He was married to the love of his life, the late Margaret Drummond for over 25 years, and out of this union, God gave them five lovely children. And his love for her was such that he mourned her passing until the day he died. <br>He was employed by Eric Whebby for many years before joining the staff at the Nova Scotia Home for Coloured Children where he worked until his retirement. He left behind to mourn his passing, son, Charles Wright Jr.; daughters, Lynn (Harold) Grant Jr., Michelle, and Sandi, all of Dartmouth, Paula (Toronto); grandchildren(6) and great grandchildren(3); sister-in-law, Karen Drummond, and brother-in-law, Walter Middleton (Toronto); and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by mother-in-law Esther Drummond, and sister-in-law, Maxine Middleton. Memorial service will be held Monday February 6, 2017 from 7-9pm at the Cherry Brook United Baptist Church with funeral service to follow on Tuesday, February 7th at Cherry Brook United Baptist Church at 2:00pm, with Rev. Wayne Desmond officiating. Online condolence may be sent to www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com.
