Yvonne Gaetz (Coleman), Age 62 of Three Fathom Harbour passed away at home on March 14, 2013. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Jean Coleman and the late Charles Coleman.
Yvonne graduated from Dalhousie University in 1972 and began her 33 year teaching career in the city of Dartmouth. Retiring in 2005 Yvonne had a brief career in excavating, soon retiring her hard hat and began work with Staples U.S. in customer service and sales. Yvonne loved life, travel, family and friends, boating, cooking and entertaining. Her radiant charm, smile, laugh and warm welcome touched many people. She will be sadly missed and we will always remember her beauty, charm and sincerity as she travelled the Circle of Life.
Yvonne is survived by her and best friend and love of her life, husband Cliff Gaetz.; sons: Clifford Jr. (Liana), Patrick (Ryan). She is also survived by her much loved extended family granddad Ross Gaetz, Graham and Maxine, Stephen and Darlene, Floyd and Janice, grandchildren Roughan and Rhys and nieces; Stephanie and Megan and nephews: Stephen and Jesse.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 on Tuesday March 19th at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street Dartmouth. A celebration of life service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday March 20th in the funeral home chapel, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens following service.
