<div itemprop="description">friends on Sunday March 15, 2015 in the Victoria General Site, QE II. Born in Halifax, he is the son of Ronald and Laurina (Saunders) Simmons. He was am alumni of Dalhousie University. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 1996 with B. Sc. Degree and graduated from TUNS in 2000 with B. Eng. Degree. Tyril was employed with Strum Engineering Associates Limited as an Electrical Engineer which he loved. Tyril loved to fish, play softball and spend time with his family and friends. He had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. He was an exceptional dad, loved all his children was a wonderful son and a loving husband. <br />Tyril is survived by his wife, Nicole; children, Taylor, Jordan and Brayden; sister, Jo-Enda Saunders, Dartmouth; God son, Kyler Saunders; many, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, God brothers, God sisters and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Nellie Saunders and his paternal grandparents, Ambrose and Dorothy Simmons; God father, George Saunders, Harold Brooks; God mother, Hazel Brooks and Blanche Brooks. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held from 12-1pm Saturday, March 21 followed by a memorial service at 1pm both in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception in Atlantic Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Dr. Deanna Swinamer, Dr. Madelaine Plourde, Dr. Maureen Nolan and Dr. Michael Biddulph for their compassion and care.
