Tyler Bradley Richards
May 27, 1986 - April 17, 2016
Richards, Tyler Bradley- age 29, of Dartmouth, passed away tragically on April 17th, 2016. Tyler's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of his existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which he lived. His loving spirit, generous nature, and athletic talent brought so much joy to his family and friends.
Tyler had such an amazing spirit and loved to share his love of basketball with so many of the up and coming young athletes in his community. He was a wonderful son, an amazing friend, a devoted brother, and a loving uncle. Tyler will be greatly missed by so many, but the memories of him live on in every dribble of a basketball, every layup, and every swish of the net.
Tyler was the beloved son of Janice Richards, Halifax, and Leonard Fraser, Dartmouth. He leaves behind his partner Le'Kiesha "Flash" Smith and his beautiful daughters Niara and Ta'nyrah Smith, all of North Preston. He is also survived by his siblings Tyrone Richards, Leonard Evans, Aaron Evans, Maurice Colley, Michelle Beals, and Malik Burgoyne; as well as special brothers, Michiko States and Puppy James. He will be deeply missed by his nephew Ty Ross-Richards; and his loving nieces Jailyn Kanasevich, Kaelyn Ross-Richards, and London Evans. As well as, his Godson's Lennox Evans and Ry'ez States.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22nd, 2016 from 7-9 pm at the Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, A Celebration of Life Service will be held in memory of Tyler on Saturday, April 23rd, at 2:00 p.m, in the Atlantic Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Wallace Smith officiating.
