<div itemprop="description">MURPHY (Joncas), Theresa Donalda “Donna” age 86, of Dartmouth, passed away November 19, 2016 surrounded by her family.<br>Born in New Mills, NB, she was a daughter of the late Priscille (Gallant) and Joseph Murchie.<br>Donna worked in retail for many years. She loved to travel to visit family. Her greatest joy was music and dancing and she also loved to knit. Her children were her passion and she treasured time spent with her grandchildren.<br>Donna is survived by her husband Bernard “Bernie Murphy; daughters Wanda (Doug) Dodman, Pamela (Larry) Pace, Judith Joncas, Cindy (Malcolm) Peers; sons, Brian (Betty Ann) Joncas, Barry (Pamela) Joncas, Darin Joncas; step-daughters Sherry, Tammy and Bernice; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.<br>She is also survived by her siblings Ron, Joseph, Carl, Gloria, John and Angela, and many nieces and nephews, especially Glennie, her # 9.<br>Donna was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Sydney Joncas; son, Randy ; sisters Winnifred and May; brother Kenny.<br>Cremation has taken place. Two Celebrations of Donna’s Life will be held; one by the Murphy family from 10am -12pm and one by the Joncas family from 2-4 pm, both on Thursday November 24 in the Atlantic Funeral Home, Reception Lounge, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. <br>Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens to take place at a later date.<br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.<br>Special thanks to the staff of Ocean View Manor who loved and cared for our mother.<br>Online condolences may be made by visiting the Dartmouth Chapel at www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com<br> <br></div>
