<div itemprop="description">Thelma Iris Pepper of Dartmouth joined her beloved Roy on March 27, 2017 one day before their 64th Wedding Anniversary. She is survived by her son, Michael (Sandy) Lake Echo; grandsons, Andrew (Monique Boudreau) Halifax, Christopher (Kate Steele) East Lawrencetown; great grandson, Maxime; sisters, Nita Sturgeon, Brenda Sparling and many loving family members in Kent County, England. In her younger years Thelma was a foster parent, volunteered at the Children’s Hospital and at the Metro Food Bank. She loved to laugh and was the life of the party at many card games and bowling leagues. The family would like to thank the EHS staff and Emergency Department staff who took care of her Friday and QEII 5.2 ICU staff especially Katie, Eleanor, Susan and Pam. No funeral or memorial service will be held at Thelma’s request. A private family ceremony is being held to inter her ashes in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Thelma’s favorite charity, Feed Nova Scotia or to the QEII Health Sciences Centre Foundation.
