Terrence David "Terry" Faulkner
May 10, 1947 - September 5, 2016
Faulkner, Terrence David “Terry”, age 69, of Dartmouth passed away suddenly on Monday September 5, 2016 at home.
Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Clyde and Millie (Purcell) Faulkner.
Terry worked as a letter carrier with Canada Post for 35 years. He was a member of the Heritage Club and participated in the Santa Claus letter writing program. An avid bowler, he played in many leagues over the years.
Terry is survived by his companion Betty Elliot; daughter Kerri Faulkner; son Ryan Faulkner; grandchildren, Bailey and Jordan; sisters Linda (Reg) Awalt, Janice (Jim) Awalt, and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his dog Jake.
Terry was predeceased by his brother David and his niece Christy Awalt. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday September 10th, in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 1 Regency Drive, Dartmouth, Rev. Edwin Ebsary officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Legion Somme Branch #31, 54 King St. Dartmouth.
