<div itemprop="description"> <p> KINCH, Stephen &ldquo;Steve&rdquo; David &ndash; 43, Steve died tragically on May 20, 2012 in the Cayman Islands. Born in Toronto, he was the son of the late Gene Kinch and Sandra (McInnis) Kinch, Steve was a gifted athlete with a fiercely competitive spirit.&nbsp; &nbsp;He worked in the service industry in Halifax for over 20 years before taking his dream job in the Cayman Islands last year.&nbsp; Steve&rsquo;s gregarious personality and unending generosity were certainly what made him so special.&nbsp; He loved reading, softball, hockey and animals, especially his two dogs Taylor &amp; Tyson.&nbsp; Stephen is mourned and missed by his brother Joe (Elizabeth), Cole Harbour, sister Jennifer (Denis) Schofield, Oakville and brother Jeff (Krista Stephenson), Toronto.&nbsp; He was the proud uncle to Alison and Hannah Kinch and Megan and Lauren Schofield.&nbsp; &nbsp;Steve was predeceased by his mother Ernestine (MacDonald).&nbsp; He will be missed more than we think he ever knew. </p> <p> Visitation will be held from <b> <i> 7-9pm on Friday June 1 </i> </b> at the Atlantic Funeral Home 771 Main Street, &nbsp;Dartmouth.&nbsp; The funeral mass will be held <b> <i> on Saturday June 2 </i> </b> <i> at 1pm </i> at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church (Caledonia Road), followed by a reception in the church hall.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorial &nbsp;donations in memory of Steve can be &nbsp;be made to KidSport, or to a charity of your choice.&nbsp; Condolences may be sent to wwwatlanticfuneralhomes.com.
