Shirley Noreen Young
December 6, 1933 - April 24, 2015
YOUNG, Shirley Noreen -age 81, of Dartmouth, passed away on Friday April 24, 2015 in Melville Lodge.
Born in Swift Current, Sask, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Viola Birt.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Raymond (Kendra), and Stephen (Bonnie); grandchildren, Jenna, Brett, Kayleigh, and Kaitlin. She is also survived by her sister Joyce Jollota, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd in 1974; siblings, Earle, and Mervin.
Visitation will be held on Monday April 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday April 28 at 10am in the funeral home chapel, Mr. Charles O’Regan and Miss Agnes Dean officiating. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Society or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
