CONROD, Shaun Dean, 29 of Dartmouth, it is with incredible heartbreaking sadness we announce that Shaun passed away at home on February 9, 2016. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Dale Kearley and Jeff Conrod. Shaun went to Humber Park Elementary and Auburn Drive High School where he made many lifelong friends. He was currently enrolled as a student at NSCC. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, hockey and all animals. Shaun loved his family very much and treasured time spent with them. He was expecting a baby in July and was unbelievably happy and excited. He would have been an amazing dad, just like he was an amazing son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. Our world will never be the same.
Shaun is survived by his mother, Dale Kearley (Tim Owen); father Jeff Conrod (Holly); fiancé and love of his life, Tiffany Doucette; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Shirley Lawrence, with whom he was incredibly close, they went above and beyond and had a special relationship with Shaun; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy Conrod; aunts Kelly Eaglestone and Janet Conrod; uncles Dean Kearley and Greg Conrod; sister Andrea Conrod, whom he cherished and never tired of teasing; brother and very best friend, Kyle Conrod; cousins Ryan and Sydney Eaglestone, Dylan Kearley, Brady, Logan and Keegan Kearley; and very good lifelong friend, Blake Glass.
Shaun was predeceased by his Uncle Wade, who was more like a brother and best friend. We hope they are together now, catching turtles and having fun. He was also predeceased by his grandad, Lee Kearley; and Aunt, Edith Kearley.
Visitation will be held from 7-9pm on Friday February 12 in Atlantic Funeral Home 771, Main Street, Dartmouth. Funeral service to be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 13 in the funeral home chapel, Rev. James Haughn officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shaun’s name may be made to Kidsport or SPCA. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com/dartmouthchapel.

Of all the special gifts in life, however great or small
Having you for my son, was the greatest gift of all
I’ll dream of you forever, and love you until I die
To the world you were a person, to this person, you were the world
Love and miss you always, your Mom
