<div itemprop="description">Graham, Samuel Robert “Sam” – age 91 of Dartmouth passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 in the Camp Hill Veteran’s Memorial Hospital, QE II. Born in Penzance, Saskatchewan he was the son of the late Robert and Helen Graham. Sam served his country for 46 years that included 27 years in the Canadian Navy and 19 years with Canada Customs. During his career in the Navy he was in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Sam was known for helping people at work and with family. He was also known for his sense of humour and jokes. He was a member of the Atlantic Chief and Petty Officer’s Association. He was also active in the Society of St. Vincent De Paul for many years. Sam is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marion (Carroll); sons, Robert (Melba) and John; grandchildren, Andrew (Aymee), Christopher, Amanda (Kelly), Robin (Ian), Amy (Josh), Mitchell (Malory), Graham and Noah; great grandchildren, Berkley, William, Easton and Scout. He was predeceased by daughter, Nancy Graham; sister, Hannah Bell; daughter in law, Deborah Graham. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held 2pm Tuesday, February 21 in St. Thomas More, Dartmouth, reception to follow in church hall. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only.
