<div itemprop="description">BURGESS, R. Brian, age 69 of Dartmouth, passed away on September 19, 2016 in the Victoria General Hospital, QEII.<br>Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Ronald and Dora (Milner) Burgess.<br>Brian was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family. He was one of the founding partners of WBLI Chartered Accountants. He enjoyed golfing with friends and was active in the harness racing community.<br>Brian is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bernadette “Bernie”; daughters, Jill (Michael) Snow and their children, Glendon, Conroy and Evelyn; Pam (Karl) Achenbach, and their daughters Gwenyth and Vivienne; Katie (Dana) Hatfield, and their sons, Cooper, Bailey and Chase; Janice (Tony) Bellis, and their children Noah and Rosie. He is also survived by his sisters, Karin (Keith) Ratcliff, Mary Ellen (Russell) Wilson; brother John (Judy) Burgess, and many nieces and nephews.<br>Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 1-5pm on Thursday September 22 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St, Dartmouth.<br>The Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at 11am on Friday September 23 in Saint John XXIII Parish, 35 Colby Drive, Cole Harbour, Father Owen Connolly officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall.
