<div itemprop="description">Goodfellow, Patrick John, aged 61, of Lake Echo, passed away on October 14th, 2012, at the Dartmouth General Hospital.&nbsp; Born in Dorset, England, he was the son of Dick and Betty Goodfellow. Pat was committed to his work at IMP Group Ltd., especially the Search and Rescue helicopter program.&nbsp; He had a life long love of trains and spent many happy hours at the East Somerset Railway in England.&nbsp; After moving to Canada in 1988 he focused on model railways, both with AMES and the British Model Railway Association. He was dedicated to St. Augustine's Anglican Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister.&nbsp; His amazing attitude towards his illness inspired everyone and will continue to uphold us all. Pat was devoted to his family who will miss him dearly, and everyone will miss his stories.&nbsp; Survived by his wife:&nbsp; Sue (Beechey) Goodfellow, daughters:&nbsp; Victoria (Steve) Nicholls, Toronto. Son:&nbsp; Matthew Goodfellow, Dartmouth. Brothers:&nbsp; Kevin (Kath) Goodfellow, England; Andy (Julie) Goodfellow, England. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by:&nbsp; Father, Dick Goodfellow; Father-in-law, Peter Beechey. Visitation will be held&nbsp; on Thursday October 18 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in Atlantic Funeral Home 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Funeral service will be on Friday October 19 at 2 pm in St. Augustine&rsquo;s Anglican Church, 2 Ponderosa Drive, Lake Echo, Rev. Kyle Wagner officiating. Burial in St. Mark&rsquo;s Cemetery, Porter&rsquo;s Lake. Reception to follow in St. Augustine&rsquo;s Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to: St. Augustine's Anglican Church, 2 Ponderosa Dr., Lake Echo, NS, B3E 1C9 or The Canadian Cancer Society.
