<div itemprop="description">Pamela Suzan Vickery, 51, died suddenly at her home in Cole Harbour, NS on Friday July 5, 2013. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of Geraldine and the late Bill Smith, Waverley, NS. Surviving are her two children and spouses Darby (Tara) Vickery and Kyle (Tina) Vickery, grandchildren Serena, Alexander and Owen Vickery, brothers Andy (Debi) and Kendal (Sheila) Smith, sister Angela (Ed) Smith, nieces Chelsea and Jaklyn, Pam's son's father Brian (Donna) Vickery. Pam was very proud of her son's and their families and took great pleasure in her grandchildren. Pam was an adventurous soul that loved life and all that it had to offer. Well known in the motorcycle community for teaching the motorcycle safety course, encouraging new riders by initiating ladies' weekly rides, lobbying for motor cycle/vehicle safety awareness and promoting motorcycling through many avenues such as Motor Cycle Mojo magazine and local media, but most prominently Pam was known for her charitable work. As one of the founding members of the Bikers' Down Society -Toad Memorial Fund (BDS-TMF) and was currently in the process of helping to set up MILK (Musical Instruments for Less-fortunate Kids) Pam freely gave her time to help others. Pam was also well known for her photographic talents, which she freely shared by taking pictures at biking events, bands that played in local establishments, and family events - she captured the moment and left a legacy for all to cherish. The family would like to offer a special thank you to everyone who made these past few weeks since Pam's accident more tolerable with your kindness and assistance. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, NS, Pastor Reid Stairs presiding. Immediately following the service will be a reception. Prior to the service there will be a Memorial Motorcycle Parade commencing at 1:00 pm from Roach&rsquo;s Cycle Works on 30 Lake Major Road, Dartmouth to Atlantic Funeral Home.
