<div itemprop="description">Brownrigg (Riley -Patterson) Lorraine Elizabeth - age 86 of Dartmouth. It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my loving wife, Lorraine on Sunday October 4, 2015 in Dartmouth General Hospital after a long battle with lung disease. Born December 20, 1928 in Newport Station Lorraine was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lena May (Pemberton) Riley. Lorraine is survived by her husband of 39 years John; sisters, Vera Lantz, Windsor, Mildred Giffin, Eileen Saunders and Marlene Starratt all of Dartmouth and many nieces and nephews. Lorraine is predeceased by her first husband Richard Granville Patterson; infant son, Stephen; sisters, Lillian Lyon, Laura Smith, Jean Crouse and Ella Clark and her brothers, Clarence, Ralph and George. Lorraine loved her family and friends very much. She loved to travel over much of the world with her husband John and spending time with her many friends in Fort Myers, Florida. She really loved the card games with her sisters, past and present and all her friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, October 10 in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, followed by a reception. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association or a charity of choice.
