<div itemprop="description">Thomas, Kevin Joey Travis &ndash; 34 of East Preston, passed away suddenly Monday July 6th, 2015. Born in Halifax, September 13, 1980, he is survived by his mother, Rhonda Thomas; maternal grandmother Mary Thomas; children, Alaza, Kani, Kahlil, Jaelynn and Jayrese. He will be sadly missed by his extended family, Cyril Jr. (Leatrice), Cole Harbour, Randall (Amelia), Bradley (Janice), God Mother, Carol Thomas all of East Preston; special cousins, Tricia Crawley and Ravenne Thomas; oldest surviving uncles, Rueben (Freda) Williams, Wilfred (Gen) Williams, East Preston; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, God parents and friends. He was a loving father, son and grandson and friend to many. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, outgoing personality and big heart. He always put others before himself. To know him, was to love him. Kevin accepted the Lord at a young age. He enjoyed writing poetry, listening to music, spending time with family and friends. He worked for Crown Masonry as a labourer. He was predeceased by grandfather, Cyril Thomas Sr.; aunt, Glenda Thomas. Visitation will be held Friday July 10th from 11:30 am to the time of the funeral service at 1 pm at New Beginnings Ministries, 26 Cherry Brook Rd., Dartmouth. Pastor Kirby Spivey III officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin&rsquo;s memory may be made to New Beginnings Ministries or to Mental Health, Nova Scotia.</div>
