<div itemprop="description">Fillis, Kenneth George “Ken”, age 77, of Halifax passed away March 20, 2017 at Northwood Centre.<br>Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late William James and Angeline Marie (Peters) Fillis.<br>Ken is survived by his daughter Eileen; sons George (Charmaine), Danny and Troy; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.<br>He is also survived by his wife Sylvia; sisters Darlene Fillis, Charmaine Renaud and Susan Lovell.<br>He was predeceased by brothers, Billy, Ronnie, Joseph, Nelson and Alvin; sisters Eileen, Shirley, Debbie, Joyce and Tammy; step-sisters Francis and Elsie.<br>Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Saturday March 25 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth where the funeral service will be held at 2pm in the funeral home chapel.<br>Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens to take place at a later date.<br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.<br>Special thanks to the staff at Northwood Manor and Centre, especially Megan.<br>Online condolences may be made by visiting the Dartmouth Chapel at www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com<br><br></div>
