Kenneth George "Ken" Fillis
June 14, 1939 - March 20, 2017
Fillis, Kenneth George “Ken”, age 77, of Halifax passed away March 20, 2017 at Northwood Centre.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late William James and Angeline Marie (Peters) Fillis.
Ken is survived by his daughter Eileen; sons George (Charmaine), Danny and Troy; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
He is also survived by his wife Sylvia; sisters Darlene Fillis, Charmaine Renaud and Susan Lovell.
He was predeceased by brothers, Billy, Ronnie, Joseph, Nelson and Alvin; sisters Eileen, Shirley, Debbie, Joyce and Tammy; step-sisters Francis and Elsie.
Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Saturday March 25 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth where the funeral service will be held at 2pm in the funeral home chapel.
Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens to take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
