<div itemprop="description">Joseph Francois (Frank) LeBlanc <br />93, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love and prayers of his family and friends, both near and far. Born in Mavillette, Digby County, NS, he was the son of Marie Helene (Lina) and Joseph Basile LeBlanc. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Normand and Emile. A man of integrity, with a strong sense of character, he was proud of his family and Acadian heritage. As a young man, he spent time in Suffield, Manitoba as a member of the Armed Forces, Special Weapons Division. His trade was that of a welder, spending most of his career at Nelson Brothers Welding as both a welder and shop foreman. His love and reverence for nature was apparent in the manner he approached all his outdoor activities, be it golf, hunting, fishing or gardening. He loved woodworking and tying flies and gifted members of his family with both medal and woodworking creations. He leaves behind the family that he so lovingly dedicated his life to, his spouse, Cerita (Deveau), Michelle Langille (Bruce), Annette Pepper (David), Raymond, adored grandchildren, Kyle, Justin, Emily and Megan Langille, Jacob, Rachel (great-grandson Jensen) and Steven Pepper, Ryan, Corey and Marc LeBlanc. He will be missed by sisters Rose Ella Saulnier (Winthrop, Mass) Angelina Kaulback (Middle Stewiacke)brothers Gerald (Antigonish) and Victor (Ontario) as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held in the Atlantic Funeral Home, 711 Main Street, Dartmouth on Monday, January 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12 at 11 a.m. 15 Caledonia Road, Dartmouth, NS. <br /></div>
