<div itemprop="description">Jonathan Cawthron, loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Age 28, of Dartmouth, formerly of Saint John, NB passed away Sept 6, 2015 in Ontario.<br />Born in Saint John, N.B., he was the son of Bonnie Ann Cawthron and Douglas James Darrell.<br />Jonathan graduated from Dartmouth High School and attended SMU where he studied arts. He loved the outdoors and playing sports. In his younger years, he was a cadet and trained in Aldershot. He ran in track and field events and went to nationals. He also ran in the Bluenose Marathon and the CIBC Run for the Cure.<br />Jonathan loved to spend time with his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and was a practical joker He will be missed by his cats Jinx and Oliver.<br />He is survived by his mother Bonnie Cawthron and father Douglas Darrell; girlfriend Keri Roberts; sister Renee Cawthron (Toko States); brothers Brady Cawthron (Renee Strowbridge), Cory and Joshua Darrell; nephews Justus, Ayden, Avery and Liam; niece Madalynn Cawthron and many aunts, uncles and cousins.<br />He was predeceased by brother Dylan Cawthron who died in infancy; grandmother Joyce Gault; Grandfather David Cawthron; and Uncle Scott Cawthron.<br />Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Monday September 14 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. The funeral service will take place at 2pm on Tuesday September 15 in the funeral home chapel followed by a reception.
