<div itemprop="description">John Howard Schrader. <br>71 years of age <br>Born in Canso <br>Died October 21st 2016 at The Halifax Infirmary. <br>John Schrader, a former welder with The Iron Workers Union, was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather.. and great grandfather. John enjoyed fishing, hunting, creating folk art, making fishing lures and spending time with son and grandchildren. John was also a skilled backyard mechanic in his younger years. John was a very strong man at heart. Even after surviving the death of his son, daughter and wife... he kept going forward. He did this for his remaining son, daughter in-law and grandchildren. He would have, and did, do every possible thing he could for them. John was the type of person that took pity on the less fortunate and did what he could for them. John is survived by his Son: Johnny David Schrader. Grandsons: Colten Schrader, Johnny Schrader jr. and Shane Austin Schrader. Granddaughter: Jessica Schrader. Daughter in-law: Renee (Rabideau) Schrader. Son in-law: Wilfred (Tazzy) Smith. Great Granddaughters: Latajiah (Tadder) Schrader and Leenajiah (Lee Lee) Schrader. Sisters: Sue Carter and Beverly Hazel. Brother: James Wilbert Schrader. <br>John was predeceased by his wife..Donna (Mcdonald) Schrader. Son: Shane Patric Schrader. Daughter: Angie Marie Schrader. Brothers: William Schrader and Harold Schrader, Sisters: Joyce Wright, Jean Mombourquette, and Patricia Larouque. <br> <br>If you would like to donate to Johns family...Donations can be made via sealed envelope at the service, or in person to Renee (Rabideau) Schrader. 43 Esson Road.
