John Alfred "JJ" Laybolt
May 19, 1925 - April 26, 2016
Age 90, of Oromocto, passed away peacefully in Fredericton, NB on April 26 2016.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Stephen and Emma Laybolt.
JJ will be remembered for his love of entertaining people with his great sense of humour and his passion of music. He loved to play the guitar but could play almost any instrument. He used to work at Imperial Oil and was a commissioner for many years.
He is survived by his only son Glen, Dartmouth; granddaughter Tawnya; great granddaughter Jasmine Clarke Laybolt, both of Cornerbrook, NL; and many relatives of PEI.
He was predeceased by his wife, Althea Gladys (Dockendorff) Laybolt.
Cremation has taken place. Service details to be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
