<div itemprop="description">Milner, Jack Hanley age 81 of Dartmouth passed away at the Q E II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax Infirmary following a brief illness. Born in Westfield, Queens County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Winnifred Milner. Jack served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and was a lifetime member of the Associated Special Investigators and Police International Inc. Jack enjoyed playing music with his friends at Sagewood Seniors Residence. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He could be seen every morning at Tim Horton&rsquo;s on Portland Street and in the afternoon at Tim Horton&rsquo;s on Wyse Road with his many friends. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Margaret and all his family. &ldquo;Big Jack&rdquo; was a gentle giant and kind to all he met. Jack is survived by his wife, Margaret (Shevery-Wright); daughter, Jacqueline Leslie (Steve); stepsons, Gary (Kim), Stephen (Bruce), Richard and Gregory Wright; grandchildren, Amie Leslie, Lindsay, Stephen, Chelsey and Ashley Wright and special friend, Bev Duffenais. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, February 6 in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main Street Dartmouth, followed by a reception.
