<div itemprop="description">It is with great sorrow that the family of Isidore Chiasson announces his passing on April 30, 2013, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Mary Louise (Doucette) and Albert Tom Chiasson, born on October 4, 1938 in Margaree Forks, Cape Breton. He will be dearly missed by his ten grandchildren, who were the lights of his life. He worked for the Federal Government for 30 years, in various departments from Indian Affairs, Taxation, and Manpower. His companion, Archie Bunker, will miss his daily walks. A great big bouquet goes out to the amazing staff of 6A Centenial. Special thanks to Dr. Greg Roy, Dr. Madeline Plourde, Dr. Matt Hudson, and the oncology and palliative care teams who made his final days very comfortable. Visitation will take place from 2 &ndash; 4 and 7 &ndash; 9 p.m. Thursday, May 2, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 3 in St. Thomas More Parish, Fr. Randy Doucette officiating with a reception to follow in the church hall. Burial at a later date.
