Ian Wallace McDougall passed away at home on March 25 after a 2 year battle with ALS. Born in Thunder Bay Ontario June 19, 1951, he was the son of Marion and Wallace McDougall. He was an avid surfer and one of the original group of surfers to the Lawrencetown area. Ian is survived by his loving wife Margaret McDougall (Kuhn) of 31 years, daughters Laura Clark (Andrew), Dartmouth, and Kristie McDougall, Seaforth. Also special thanks for the love and support of our dear friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of Dartmouth. A celebration of Ian’s life will be held at a later date.
