<div itemprop="description">Corkum, Harold Lloyd- 82, of Dartmouth.<br />It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Harold Lloyd Corkum. Harold was born on January 25, 1933 to the late Douglas and Lillian (Corkum) Corkum. He was the second middle of 5 siblings and grew up in Pleasantville. LaHave County. He worked for 30 plus years for Union Carbide/Energizer as a Salesman and in retirement continued to work for Atlantic Superstore until his health forced him to further slow his pace. His kindness and soft spoken demeanor made it easy to love him and throughout his life he made many friends and acquaintances. Harold was happily married to Marjorie (Gallant) for the past 62 years, whom he loved and cherished. He was predeceased by his daughter Sandy Harquail (Corkum); brothers Earle and Beverly Corkum; and sister Betty Slaunwhite.<br />In addition to his beloved wife Marjorie, he is survived by his sister Marjorie (Ron) Silver; daughters, Wanda (Robbie) Robertson, and Tina (Rodney) Helpard; step-children Betty (Barc) Bliss, June Massey and Fred (Lynn) Swallow. He will be forever missed by his grandchildren Amanda Robertson, Jimmy Harquail, Kayla Helpard, Phillip Helpard, Vicki Bliss, Michelle Bliss, Ben clements, Joel Swallow, Lori Swallow, and great-grandson Philip.<br />A private graveside service for immediate family will take place on Friday November 6th at 11am in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens, Rev. Joan Helpard officiating.
