<div itemprop="description">MYERS, Gregory Allen &ndash; It is with great sadness that the family of Greg Myers announces his sudden passing on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the age of 64. He was the son of Reid (Fall River) and the late Irene Myers. Greg was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by the love of his life Sandra (Whebby), son Justin (Melissa), grandchildren Ethan, Owen and Khloie, who knew him as their &ldquo;Da&rdquo;; brothers George of Penobsquis , NB and Andrew (Sondra) of Fall River as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Janet Lewis and his stepmother Marion. Greg was an avid golfer, having attained a &ldquo;hole in one&rdquo; on five occasions. He was a very giving and kind man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He was known for his quick wit and willingness to help others and was a prolific fundraiser for Christmas Daddies. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He began his working career with K-Mart and had recently attended a reunion with former workers from there. He worked in the hospitality industry for many years as a well-liked waiter and bartender. In recent years Greg found great reward in a new endeavour of interior house painting. Cremation has taken place. Please join us as we celebrate Greg&rsquo;s life at 3pm Tuesday, June 30 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth with a reception to follow. Private family interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
