<div itemprop="description">Chapman, Frances Marion ("Fran”) <br> <br>It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Mother aged 88 years at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital Musquadoboit Harbor on Sunday June19, 2016. <br>Born June 3, 1928 in Winnipeg, MB she was the only daughter of the late Jack and Lily (Butler) Sharp. She is survived by a brother, Fred (Gwen) Sharp of Winnipeg, son Don (Candace), daughter Catherine (Russ), grandchildren Rebecca (David) Wilson, David (Beth) Chapman, and great grandchildren Adelyn, Emily Wilson and Cameron Chapman-Robichaud. <br>Also, step-grandchildren Jourdan (Tanya), Matthew (Svetlana) with Aleksandr and Milena, Olivia, Julian (Theresa) Ritchey, Natasha and Devon (Stephanie) White. She was predeceased by husband George (Bud) and son James (Jim). <br> <br>Mom was a socially vibrant lady who loved her family and many friends. <br>A young Fran worked at the Winnipeg Welfare and then office soon after met her husband. They married in 1951 and had a family of 3, transferring to Chatham, ON in1963 where they lived for 6 years, then to Nova Scotia in 1969. Fran enjoyed a few part time jobs over the years, as well as music, bowling, cards (Bridge club) and most of all her treasured 'gourmet group'. Fran loved to entertain, cook and socialize! <br>Many thanks to the VON and Northwood Homecare. A very special thank you to the Doctors and Nursing Staff at Twin Oaks for their patience and caring kindness. <br> <br> <br>Visitation will be held Tuesday June 28th from 7-9 pm and Wednesday June 29th 1-2 pm. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday June 29th, followed by a reception. All will take place at Atlantic Funeral Homes Dartmouth Chapel, 771 Main St, Dartmouth NS. <br> <br>Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation of NS. <br></div>
