Eileen Mary Cross
May 20, 1925 - April 10, 2015
CROSS (Langille) Eileen Mary-89, of Eastern Passage passed away on Friday April 10, 2015 in the Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Hurley and Matilda Langille.
Eileen worked at Oceanview Manor for many years. She was a long-time member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Eastern Passage.
Eileen is survived by her daughters, Valerie (Rene) Gallant and Mary (Eric) Height; sons Wayne and David (Maureen); sisters Dot, Lorraine and Margaret; brothers David and Willis; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold “Smiley” Cross; sisters, Florence, Betty, Shirley, Gloria; brothers, Charlie, Harold, Hurley, Walter, and Ken.
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Society.
