MYATT, Effie M., It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of Effie on June 1, 2016 in Bissett Court, Cole Harbour.
Born in Notre Dame Bay, NL, she was the eldest child of the late George and Edith (Thomas) Rideout.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur and companion Barry Bonang.
Effie is survived by her brother Frederick; sisters, Stella Marie, Ada Maud and Neta, all of Newfoundland.
Her wishes were simple. No visitation, No flowers. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Homes, Dartmouth.
Effie’s ashes will be brought to Newfoundland where she will rest in the family plot alongside her parents.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Dartmouth General Hospital, 325 Pleasant St., Dartmouth, N.S., B2Y 4G8.
