<div itemprop="description">MYLES, Edwin Lewis “Eddy” age 63 of Dartmouth. <br>His family is very sad to announce that Eddy lost his short battle with cancer on August 20, 2016. <br>Eddy was born in Dartmouth and lived there his entire life, other than a 2 year tour with the Canadian Armed Forces, in Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, based in Calgary from 1974 to 1976. His main career was as a pipe fitter and he worked at the Halifax Shipyards for many years. He also loved to sing, play the guitar and play golf. Eddy had a very fun loving personality and his friends often referred to him as “Smiley”. <br>Eddy is survived by his brother Dennis, Wolfville; sister Dena, Dartmouth; his estranged sister Donna Pemberton, Moncton, NB; and step-daughter Brenda Wournell, Vancouver BC. He is also survived by his niece, Jennifer Weeks, nephews, John Myles, Justin Myles, Richard Weeks, Tony Pemberton and Evan Pemberton, great nephews Dyson Myles and Keegan Smith; great nieces Anika Myles and Abigale Pemberton. <br>He was predeceased by his wife Maxine (Nieforth-Wournell) ; and his parents, Doris (McDow) and Leonard Myles. <br>Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 12pm on Wednesday August 31 in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. <br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Feed Nova Scotia. <br>Online condolences may be made by visiting the Dartmouth Chapel at www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com <br></div>
