<div itemprop="description">McCrossin, Edward Farren - <br> <br>Age 74, of Dartmouth, passed away at home on August 28, 2016. <br> <br>He was a son of the late Leo and Vesta (Farren) McCrossin. <br> <br>Ed spent his entire life in Dartmouth, where as a youth he was heavily involved in hockey, baseball, and paddling. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisher. Ed also enjoyed woodworking, and always loved a good party. <br> <br>He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean (nee Campbell); daughter Suzanne (Wayne) Robson; son Scott (Stephanie Reidy); grandchildren Tyler, Callum and Euan. Ed is also survived by his sisters Margaret (Eric) Edwards, Dorothy (James, deceased) Graham, Kay (Jerry) Campbell; brothers Bill (Mariette) and Tom (Alice); many cherished in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, including Bertha Delaney and family whose companionship was a source of happiness to him in his later years. <br> <br>Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth with Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11am from St. Thomas More Parish, 15 Caledonia Road, Dartmouth. <br> <br>In Ed’s honour, Callum and Euan will be participating in the Terry Fox Run on September 18 and donations to www.terryfox.ca/TeamGrampy would be welcome. <br> <br>Arrangements entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Homes, Dartmouth Chapel (902-462-1434). <br>Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com <br></div>
