<div itemprop="description">PROVO, Delilah Mae, age 54 of North Preston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends on May 21, 2015 in the Victoria General Hospital. <br />Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Mrs. Burley Provo and Frederick Provo. <br />Delilah worked at Dartmouth City Hall, Hershey Canada and Wade Office Dartmouth and was recently enrolled in NSCC. <br />She is survived by her daughters, Murtisha, Pakira, Cleo, Laurisha; son Zakeiam, all of North Preston; special mom Mylayia; many special sons and daughters and nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Martayah, O&rsquo;Shay, Arneze, Brown&rsquo;nesha, Cleo, La&rsquo;zhyrein, La&rsquo;navieah and Jaymyron; sisters, Elaine, Tara, Laurie, Burlisha; brothers, Wade, Rocky, David, and Patterson. She is also survived by best friends, Darlene (Julia) Glasgow and Robert Cain; 17 God-children. <br />She was predeceased by son Martaze Provo; paternal grandparents John and Sarah Provo; maternal grandparents Francis and Ida Downey. <br />Visitation will be held on Sunday May 24 from 7-9pm in St. Thomas Baptist Church, North Preston. The funeral service will be held on Monday May 25 at 1pm in St. Thomas Baptist Church, Rev. Wallace Smith officiating.
