Deborah Marie "Debbie" Moses
August 8, 1955 - January 16, 2016
Moses (Smith), Deborah Marie “Debbie”-age 60, left mortality quietly on Jan.16, 2016 at home, surrounded by her family. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of Edith Smith (Corkum) and the late Grenfell Smith.
Survived by her dearest companion and husband Richard Moses of Cole Harbour. She leaves behind her most precious legacy of her 5 children and 3 step children as well as 10 grandchildren. Debbie cherished growing up in a large family of 8 brothers and sisters.
Debbie loved to attend the temple, travel, dance, exercise and especially spend time with her family and friends. Debbie held always as her first priority her family. She was an active member of her church;" The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints" and her community. A quiet soul that made a huge difference in the lives of all she met. There is and shall only be one Debbie Moses but in the hearts and lives of all she influenced she will be a living reminder that they walked with an Angel in this adventure we call mortality.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 on Tuesday January 19 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Funeral service to be held on Wednesday January 20 at 1pm in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 144 Cumberland Drive, Cole Harbour.
Burial to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Debbie’s family has asked that donations be made in her honor and so many others who fight to the Canadian Cancer Society.
