David Draper
July 26, 1971 - March 19, 2015
Draper, David Scott – age 43 years of Dartmouth, passed away at home on March 19, 2015. Born in Truro on July 26, 1971; Dave grew up in Woodlawn and went to Prince Andrew High School. He spent many years cooking in various local pubs and restaurants and then changing careers later in life to fulfill a passion for construction. Dave’s greatest achievements in life were his children. They were his pride and joy and their happiness was his biggest priority. He also had a strong love for animals; and will be sadly missed by his dog, Cheeko.
Left with many happy and cherished memories are his children Ashley Holland, Cheralyn Holland, Spencer Holland, Brett Draper and Brooklyn Draper; grandchildren Cameron, Caiden and Caillum Holland; also respectfully the mothers of his children Tammy Holland and Lesia Hume.
Predeceased by his father Constable Christopher Draper.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 2pm from the Atlantic Funeral Home, Dartmouth Reception Lounge with Rev. James Haughn officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dave made directly to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be greatly appreciated.
