<div itemprop="description"> <b> </b> <p> Murphy, Daniel Roger - 22, of Dartmouth - It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden death of our beloved son Daniel Roger Murphy August 21, 2011. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Wallace and Donna (McRae) Murphy. Daniel will be sadly missed by his brother Michael who he adored very much. Daniel was a graduate of Dartmouth High School and was currently attending the University of New Brunswick where he planned to eventually get his teaching credentials. Daniel loved his life in Fredericton and he spoke often of his new friends. Daniel loved life. He was an extremely kind hearted person with a great sense of humour. He was an ardent Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching the Red Sox play in Toronto with his dad, brother and uncles. Daniel was blessed to have a great number of the same friends since childhood. He enjoyed just being in their company. He loved them all. Daniel is survived by his parents and his brother, Michael, his paternal grandparents Raymond and Emma Hudson, his maternal grandparents Roger and Aline McRae; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel will be greatly missed by his large extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m.&nbsp;Tuesday August 23&nbsp;in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main St.,Dartmouth. A Celebration of Daniel's Life followed by a reception will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday August 24 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church 10 Maple St., Dartmouth. Interment will take place at a later date. Family flowers only please, donations in Daniel's memory may be made to Gabriel Kuling's Trust Fund or a charity of choice.
