<div itemprop="description">PENNEY (Jones), Courtney - 28, died tragically in a highway accident April 27, 2012, in Wandering River, Alta. Born in Halifax, Courtney grew up in Porters Lake. She graduated from Eastern Shore District High in 2002 and graduated from St. F.X. University in 2006. She was married and resided in Fort McMurray with her husband Mark and was expecting their first child in August. She was employed in Human Resources at Diversified Transportation Ltd, Alberta. Courtney was very active in her local church and worked with her husband Mark cooking, baking and helping people. She enjoyed music, camping, her family and friends. Courtney is survived by her husband, Mark Penney, Fort McMurray, Alta; parents, Keltie and Louise Jones, Porters Lake; sisters, Taryl (Daniel) Hanam, Baddeck; Chelsey, Gaetz Brook and brother, Grayson, Fall River. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home 771 Main St. Dartmouth on Friday July 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;A Memorial Service will be held at St. Augustine's Anglican Church 2 Ponderosa Drive at (Blue Rock Road) in Lake Echo on Saturday at 10 am.
