Clayton Kenneth Joudrey
January 10, 1928 - November 3, 2013
JOUDREY, Clayton K., age 85 of Dartmouth passed away on November 3rd, 2013 at home.
Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Cora (Beck) and Harold Joudrey.
Clayton worked for many years at Fairey Aviation followed by 19 years at Halifax Heating and Air Conditioning. He enjoyed gardening, walking, spending time with his dog Makita, and following his grandchildren’s sporting events. He played hockey and softball in Bridgewater and Halifax areas, and coached minor hockey, baseball and softball. He also served as the president of SEDMHA.
Clayton is survived by daughter Jane (Brian) Lent, Waverley; sons, Ken (Donna), Bedford, Paul (Bernadette), Cole Harbour; grandchildren, Mark, Andrew, Guff, Ryan, Ashley, and Megan; step-grandchildren, Tara, Tony, Erin and Matt; 8 great-grandchildren, 2 nephews and one niece.
He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years Joan (Buckler), and his brother Lester.
A private family service will be held on Wednesday November 6th.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kid Sport Nova Scotia through Sport Nova Scotia.
