<div itemprop="description">M/Cpl Black C.D., Christopher David, age 49, Dartmouth, &nbsp;taken from us suddenly at home on August 12, 2012.&nbsp; Chris is survived by his loving wife Robin MacDonald, parents Noel and Bev Black, brother Mike (Eveline) and their children Nick and Kylie, brother Boyd (Marianne) children Travis, Sheldon and Stacey.&nbsp; He was very close to Robin&rsquo;s family, her brother Bruce (Charline) and children Kelsey and Brandon, her brother Shane and her sister Nicole (Carmen) and their daughter Madison.&nbsp; Chris spent his entire career in the Air Force with postings in CFB Baden, Germany and CFB Shearwater, Nova Scotia.&nbsp; He also served with pride on the HMCS Iroquois with the Helo Detachment in the Gulf War.&nbsp; Chris was passionate about many things, first and foremost was his love of flying a close second was the amazing (but continual) renovations of his and Robin&rsquo;s home.&nbsp; When you were around Chris you were always laughing.&nbsp; He had a great sense of humor and was a teaser extraordinaire.&nbsp; Our lives have been greatly enriched by having him in it.&nbsp; He will always be loved and fondly remembered by all who knew him.&nbsp; &nbsp;A wake celebrating his life will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Atlantic Funeral Home 771 Main St. Dartmouth.&nbsp; A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2012 in Atlantic Funeral Home Chapel.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.&nbsp;</div>
