<div itemprop="description">Bradford Simmonds age 51 of North Preston passed away Oct 15, 2013 at his home in Halifax. Born in Halifax he was the son of Walter and Viola (Fraser) Simmonds. Bradford was employed with Walter&rsquo;s Paving his dad&rsquo;s company for many years. He was also a team leader at Halifax Recycling Co. in Bayers Lake. His last days were spent at Solutions Learning Center in Dartmouth which advanced his educational skills. He was a very neat man who loved to dress and impress. Bradford accepted Christ in his early teens and became a member of Saint Thomas Baptist Church in North Preston. Survived by his daughters Vanteecha Whynder, Toronto, Tamara Berriman, Lower Sackville, Lariah Jordon, Dartmouth; Son Bradley &ldquo;B.J&rdquo; Berriman; sisters Juantia (Pastor Bruce Johnson), North Preston, Sharon (John) Carverly, Calgary Alberta, Brenda Simmonds, North Preston, Bev (Raymond Sheppard), Dartmouth; Brothers Terry Fraser, Halifax, Dexter Beals (Marva), North Preston, Walter Jr. Simmonds (Leanne), Halifax, Michael (Lillian) Simmonds, Cole Harbour, Roger Simmonds, North Preston, Jermall Fraser, Calgary Alberta; 2 grandchildern. He was loved and respected by many nieces and newphews and had the support of many friends. Predeceased by maternal grandparents, Ernest Sr. Fraser and Emma Fraser. Paternal grandparents, Harvey Simmonds Sr. and Mary Simmonds, sister-in-law Marva (Fairfax) Beals. Visitation will be held Tuesday Oct 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday Oct 23 at 1pm in Saint Thomas United Baptist Church in North Preston, Pastor Wallace Smith officiating. Burial in Saint Thomas cemetery.
